Canteen
Canteen is my favorite place when I'm in hungry, it's located at Realino complex. most of students in Sanatha Dharma University like to have their lunch there, the menu provides in there are ; soto, lotek, chicken ball soup, and also vegetable. canteen also provides many kinds of drink, like fruit juice, ice tea, lemon tea, coffee, and soda-drink.
If you're just finished your class and feel hungry, just go to canteen, there's a football yard in the east of the canteen, you can take the fastest way by walking around the football yard, by taking the west side or the north side. There you may not have any empty chair to sit, especially at busy hours (11a.m-2p.m), so it's a good idea if you go there before 11.
There are many chairs and tables there, you can choose the most comfortable spot to eat. I recommend you to take the south side of canteen, there you'll feel the fresh air and a good view of nature. There are many plants grow in there, so the air is very fresh if you take the south spot.
most of Students of Sanatha Dharma University like to spent their time by hanging out there, chat with friends, do some jokes and sometime work their job. So in conclusion is that most of them fulfill the canteen not only for having lunch, but also for another things they like to do. Some people usually bring laptop there, for browsing or working their job, so if you interest, just come there and feel the sphere! :P

A trip to Bali (Assigment 2 - 091214102)
I had my most wonderful trip when I was in 2nd Grade of my senior High School. The trip was also a Study Tour for us; there we had to learn about the culture of Bali, including people and their traditions.
That was afternoon when we went there, we used 4 buses, and I was in bus 3. The trip took a long time to get there, we passed many interesting places, such as a Diesel Power Plant but I forgot what the name was, I thought that was a Nuclear Power Plant, or a Nuclear Reactor just like in Korea. It was frightening when we passed a long street in the middle of jungle. That was at night so we couldn't see anything.
I saw so many trees outside, the jungle was so dark, and I wondered what kind of creatures were in there. After that frightening path, we passed a small mountain in Kediri, I still don't know what the name was, but it was so hard for our bus climb the road. I couldn't sleep that night; so much interesting things to see outside.
At 5 a.m our bus stopped to move, I didn't realize that was morning, we had to cross Bali Strait to continue our trip to Bali. We crossed Bali Strait by a Ferry Ship, that was so dark there, in the middle of Ocean and again that was a cool dark morning. After few minutes, the Sun begun to rise, I could see a light came from the east, brightened the sea and warmed my cold body.
That was a beautiful Sunrise, and we reached Bali Island after an hour. We continued our trip, we had our breakfast in a beautiful restaurant, and the restaurant provided a good view of beach and a good taste of Sea Food. We went to an inn, we had our night there before continue the trip. In the morning we continued our trip, the first place to visit was Kuta Beach, that was a wonderful beach, the sand, the sun and the wave were so beautiful; I spent my time there by playing football and swimming.
The next place was Tanah Lot, that wasn't a good beach for swimming, since rocks and waves there were too dangerous. There was an island located near the beach, but we weren't allowed to go there since the risk was too high, the ocean wave was too dangerous. I bought for some souvenirs there, I liked oceanic souvenirs.
That was my wonderful first day in Bali, we went back to our inn in evening. In the night we went outside the inn to look around, me and my friends took a walk in Bali's Down Town; we found many interesting things there. We passed a Game Center in the way home, and we decided to play for a game there.
The night was too late and we didn't realize it, finally we decided to go back to our inn. In the morning I couldn't get up easy, I was so sleepy since I that was 01.00 a.m when I came back from Game Center. I felt a bit sick in my second day, so I couldn't enjoy the trip well.
My next place to visit was Bedugul Lake, Bedugul Lake located in a high mountain, that was so cool up there, but the sunlight was very hot. I bought some Strawberry Fruits, it cost a little, only 2500 rupiahs for each small size Fruit box, cheap enough compared to Strawberry in my City.
Most of my friend enjoyed that Beautiful Lake by explore it with a small boat, they invited me to join but I refused their invitation since I was in sick, I caught a cold. After few hours we had our lunch there, the food provided by the restaurant was very good, they called it "Babi Guling", it tasted good and I liked it.
After finished our lunch we went to Sanur Beach, there we could play many things, such as banana boat, and a game that used a parachute to bring people in a high altitude to enjoy the view from above, that game cost a lot so I won't play that game. I spent my time with my friends by explore its wonderful beach, there we could find many amazing sea creatures such as Small Squids, crabs, and beautiful small fish, but we weren't allowed to catch them since they protected by government.
That was our last place in Bali to visit, and at night we went to a restaurant located in someplace like plateau, I didn't know where was that since that was at night. We enjoyed our last dinner in Bali before we go home; we enjoyed our dinner with a beautiful view of Bali in the night. And after that we went home, we reached the harbor at evening, that was a beautiful evening when we crossed Bali strait for the twice, we could see that beautiful Ocean since that was evening, I went to a corner of the ship and let the fresh winds blew me.
Bali was an amazing Island, Just the same feel as Hawaii, I really liked to stay there but the day was in final, we had to go back home. My Trip to Bali was the beautiful one, I couldn't hold my sadness when I left the Island by Ferry Ship, I yelled with all my Friends in the ship that We Love Bali.

My Experience in EWD 2009
My Experience in EWD 2009
Last week I had an English Welcoming Days at Wonogondang Camping Ground. I was there with all my friends from the same study program. We went there by bus and it took an hour to get there.
There was so cold, though that was evening, but the weather was so cold. That day the event started with the Introduction of all friends, Group Leaders, and an introduction of who was in charge there. That night we celebrated our English Welcoming Day by Talent show, all of the group had to present a talent show, mostly by Musical Drama.
That night I hadn't enough preparation to present our drama, but I had to do all I can do to make the best of us. After few hours, we got our turn to present the drama, I was so nervous since I didn't prepare that well, I didn't come to Pre-EWD that was held week before the real EWD.
Finally I had to go aboard the stand and do myself as a Guard of the Prince, thanks to God because I did it without any mistake, and that was wonderful. Finally the Talent Show was over, I wondered to take a nap cause I was so tired and that was too late. But I thought wrong, the event still continued by Tracking, Tracking is an event that each Group of EWD must walk trough the light sign in order to reach the main Post, there we would get some games and spirit reflection.
That was a cool night since we were in a high mount, Merapi Mount. I was actually a bit scary when I passed a long narrow bridge, there was no fence on it so I had to watch each of my steps in order not to get fall from that high bridge. After few minutes we passed the bridge and the group leader told us that we have to stop, that was so suck since we were in a Plateau with strong cold winds blew ourselves, that penetrated my thick jacket and frozen me like an ice.
After a long time we continued our trip, and finally we reached our camping ground at 6 a.m, the group leader told us to close our eyes and told us to walk. they told us to sit, and take off our shoes, then they washed our leg with a cold water. that was touching since they were our senior but they serviced us like a king.
After finished Tracking we had our time to get washed and cleaned, the next session begun at 8 a.m, the next session was OutBound. there were so many games we had there, the most advantageous game was a game that we must cross a small bamboo above cold green water pool. Most of us were unable to do that, only 1 of our group member could pass it, and surprisingly she was a girl.
The EWD finished at 1 p.m, we waited for so long for our buses, the way to get to our Camping Ground wasn't easy, we had to pass trough a rough path, the path weren't asphalted yet so that was a hard thing to get there.
We started to understand the main point of the EWD event, they (our Senior ) tried to show us that there's no state of seniority in our College, everyone there were the same, and we learned from each other to make our best. They were so nice and so friendly, that was our luck to be a student of USD, especially in English Education study program.
